Start engagement by engaging. Get a group of your people to build a shared understanding of what real engagement would be like day-to-day. To see with fresh eyes how things are, and identify how they could be better. To internalise the organisation’s vision and goals.

They need to be able to bring their whole self to work. To act out of genuine belief. To feel responsible – whatever their seniority, they have a crucial part to play.
